There is a large turnover of players each year with students leaving for university, music colleges and the like, but many students return after their studies to boost the playing capacity and the band has now developed into a community band with about 50% adult membership.

If you are interested in a position or just want to come and join us for a blow, take a look at our rehearsals page to see where we rehearse. We are always looking for new players, there doesn’t need to be a vacancy.
